CCEE Stampers-It's All About RED
Hope you like RED because that is the challenge this week at CCEE Stampers-Use Red. Our hostess, the month of August, is Anne/Inking in Red, so there is no surprise that this was the first challenge. I think red is pretty awesome, too.
I made a simple card using a stamp I think I purchased in the $1 bin at Jo-Ann Stores. Good bargain as I happen to really like it. The stamp is Studio112/Summer Mini Assortment.
Hope you'll get RED this week and join us. We would love to see your creations.

CAS Christmas-Amaryllis
Just a quick post for my card joining in the Dare to Get Dirty challenges on Splitcoaststampers. It's a week of Dirty Dozen challenges and stamping. I have found it to be a lot of fun. Wish I had time to do all the challenges, but no way. The member companies will be giving away prizes. You have to be a Fan Club member to join. If you're not familiar with this, you may want to get over there and check it out by clicking on my link above.
My card is for DTGD12vdutchr and DTGD12va.sunshine.
I'm using Flourishes Calendar Set 8 September through December for my image. Love that Amaryllis. I colored it with Copics and then added a sentiment from Stampabilities Merry Little Christmas.
That's it, folks! I'll have a card posted Thursday and that may be it until Monday..unless I get to do a Queen for the Day on Friday. I have visitors for the weekend and I'll be busy with real life.

FOSTV-Die Cuts
The challenge for Friends of Speedy TV this week is to use die cuts. I've had this basket from Marianne Design Craftables for quite a while and this is my chance to use it. I filled it with roses from a Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co. stamp set called Relax A Bit. It is the roses only from the teapot. I stamped the teapot, colored, and cut out the roses, placing them in the basket.
I used a Marianne Design Creatables Bird, Ivy Vine, Birdhouse die for the ivy. The green leaves are Spellbinders Shapeabilities Foliage dies. I did change the shape of those with my scissors because they weren't fitting just right. I got in a punch for my branches from Martha Stewart.
The pretty embossing folder was sent to me from Kathy, Entering Kathyville. Thanks so much, Kathy. I love it and it works perfectly for my basket of flowers.
Hope you'll join us this week at Friends of Speedy TV and possibly win the stamp set shown below, Wild Horses.
