On Splitcoaststampers, the new QFTD #79 is Liz aka lazylizard. I cased this card of hers. I was wanting to use this Sizzix stocking die that I bought last year and never managed to use. I used a K&CO border and a Cuttlebug embossing folder called snowflakes. No coloring on this card. The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers and is a stamp set called Christmas Postage Due.

You're Special
Mark's Finest Papers, Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #73 is to do a one layer card. I am using a
MFP stamp set called Just Dandy. This is one of the many sentiments included in the set.
My embossing folder is a Sizzix called Birds and Wreath Set. The folder is turned upside down to accommodate my one layer and I like it either way. I added a butterfly brad after removing the prongs that stick through and then popped on...didn't want them showing on the inside.

Merry & Bright
Vicky Gould asked the Stampin' B's Design Team to make a card using at least two Spellbinder dies. Yikes! I may be in trouble as I used two but they are the same die. I didn't mean for that to happen but as the card went along, it had to happen...not good planning, I suppose. No challenge police....please.
There are no rules on this challenge so I feel fairly safe. :-)
I sometimes like to do non traditional colors on my Christmas cards. I wanted to use this stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers called Snowman Country and used only the tree, which I gold embossed. My dies are Spellbinders deckle nesties. I really like the designer paper which my sister gave me. It is My Mind's Eye-Lost & Found Christmas (pad)...which gave it a vintage look, therefore, the distressing. Rest of recipe is below.
Hope you'll get out your dies and join us.
Recipe:
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers-Snowman Country-sentiment is the dp
Paper: Stampin'Up! Chocolate Chip, PTI vintage cream
Accessories: Recollections floral embellishment, Spellbinders deckle nestabilitie, red gemstones, VersaMark Dazzle, Stamp 'n Stuff jeweled gold embossing powder, Offray-Galena metallic ribbon

Happy Fall-Tuesday Throwdown #67
It's Tuesday again and we have another fun challenge at Tuesday Throwdown. The theme is Fall. I wanted to do this pretty image called Autumn that Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps provided the design team. I decided to do something a little different and paper piece my pumpkins with brown and white dotted paper. I colored the leaves and stems and added a flourish vine. I cut a Spellbinders Labels 14 to put my image on and used designer paper from a K&CO Ghostly Greetings die cut mat pad (green). The polka dotted paper came from a scrapbook store and has no name. I computer generated my sentiment and die cut with a Spellbinders nested pennant die cut.
We sure hope to see you playing along with us at Tuesday Throwdown. You may win some wonderful digi stamps. Check it out!
