Isn't this the cutest seahorse? I wanted to make a circle card using a circle and circle scallop nestabilite from Spellbinders. The water is made with a Cuttlebug tiny bubbles embossing folder. I've added some blue gemstones and the rest, of course, is from the featured set.

Cardstock for base is MFP Old World Gold.

Hope you've enjoyed this week of hopping. It's time to head over to Toni's blog.

Yorkie Post

I made my card for the Less is More challenge #80. The card should be one layer and should include fur or feathers.

I also am including this card in the Dirty Dozen Fan Club Gallery challenge on Splitcoaststampers. The central theme is 'In the Neighborhood'. It should be something you see in your neighborhood.
Well, I see people walking their little Yorkies in my neighorhood giving them exercise and showing how adorable they are...and they really are.

My son and daughter-in-law have a Yorkie, at least she does and my son has a Doberman. What a pair. But, guess who is in charge...the little Yorkie because she has been there the longest. If the Dobie bothers her, she just gives a little growl and the Dobie walks off...too funny. This card will go to my dil for her birthday and she is sure to love it.

Happy Hopping! Hope you're having fun checking out all the awesome sets we're featuring this week.
I found this frame I bought at a LSS that used to be in my city. They've been gone several years and I really miss them. Anyway, my frame is really old and I'm glad to finally use it. It is Wild Asparagus/Happy Days Frame by My Mind's Eye.

I stamped my palm tree from the Tree Greetings set three times, paper pieced them, and popped on dimensionals. They are placed in between a couple rows of sand dunes made with Sand Dunes paper from The Paper Studio . Then, I used a Fiskars punch called Boundary Waters for my ocean. The shell is from another MFP set called Silly Shells featured last month and can be found in the store.
I didn't use a sentiment on the outside, rather will stamp it inside.

My clouds are sponged and I used a punch from a Stampin'Up! circle scallop punch and using VersaMagic Sea Breeze.

It's time to hop now and go see Toni here. I know she has something beautiful in store for you.

Or,  scan down and click on her photo.

CCEE Stampers Challenge

Anne Harmon gave the challenge this week for the CCEE Stampers to do a marker direct to stamp technique. This was easy and fun and I think it makes a pretty card. You can find a tutorial for this technique here on Splitcoaststampers. This is it in a nutshell: Colored my butterfly stamp with Copics, sprayed a fine mist of rubbing alcohol over stamp, and stamped image.

Now that you see what fun that is, come on over to CCEE Stampers and join us. We would love to see your card with this technique. The rest of the team will have some beautiful cards for you to see, too.

Accessories-Copics, rubbing alcohol, Craft Essentials pink/black ribbon

What a beautiful sunflower and it will make great cards for summer or the upcoming Fall season.
My card is simple, colored the image with Copics and layered on black cardstock with that on top of Houndstooth2 from The Paper Studio. Well, doesn't look like houndstooth to me, but just a checked piece...just giving the facts on the paper. :-)  I added some Stickles to the bees and I'm finished.

Next is Toni and I'm sure she'll have a wonderful creation to show you.

What a fun set and just in time for returning to school. I stamped my board and then stamped the numbers and letters on top, embossing them.  The books are paper pieced. Designer paper is K&CO Wild Saffron pad.

Hope you'll head over to Toni's blog next and see what fabulous work she has done with this set.

CAS and Christmas

Yes, this is my second post for today. I made the mistake of looking at the CAS (clean and simple)
challenge on Splitcoaststampers and had to join in. It was a sketch today from Tenia Sanders-Nelson.

This was so quick and easy. I'm using some adhesive borders I've had for a year or so and am glad to make a card using them. They were purchased at Hobby Lobby and are by The Paper Studio. I stamped my ornament on Stampin'Up! Real red paper and some unknown silver for the top. It is cut out and popped on with dimensionals.  The sentiment is one I got at Wal-Mart probably around two years ago.
It is called Holiday Clear Stamps (no other name). The ornament is Flourishes/All That Glitters.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving wonderful comments. I appreciate it so much.

FOSTV challenge

Hope you had a great weekend. I didn't do much of anything, worked in the yard a bit and then made a few cards. It was such a surprise when I went outside Saturday morning and felt Fall-like temperatures. Of course, I know there is plenty of hot weather left. And, being a summer lover, I'm glad.

This week the challenge at Friends of Speedy TV is a color challenge. You are to use pink, pale green, cream or gray. My card base looks white but I promise it is cream. The card is a square, rather simple card.

I'm using two Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co. stamp sets. For the sentiment, I'm using Daffodil Greetings and the butterfly is Old Summer stamp set.

Hope you'll join us this week. The stamp set being given away to the fortunate winner this week is Blessings.
