Yesterday's Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers was Lydia Fielder aka Understandblue. She is Community Manager of SCS. She also has talent and a wonderful gallery of cards to case. I chose this card.
I remember when she made her card and I loved her adorable shamrocks. Mine aren't shamrocks but kind of a little Fall flower.
My card is made from a delft tile tutorial found in resources on SCS. Lydia used a heart punch to make her shamrocks and I'm using a Spellbinders Shapeabilities die called Contemporary Hearts.
I cut out the hearts, scored each one and turned over for placing. I stamped my background after cutting out my paper and scoring the tiles. Sponging around the tiles was next. I added my flowers, gold brads, twine for stems, a sentiment and called it finished. It was fun and easy tutorial from Julie Warner.

Speedy's Friends #26, Featured Stamper
I've gotten back from church and just couldn't wait to make a card for two challenges today. One is for Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge#26 and for the Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers, Lynette aka LynniePoo. What a wonderful gallery of cards to choose from to do a case.
Speedy Friends challenge is to use a punch or die cut. Yes, that is easy peasy and fun!!!
I love Christmas oranments and I have an ornament punch I'm enjoying using for this card. Each ornament was punched twice and put two together of the same for dimension. My ornament hangers are gold braid from Flower Soft..love it, and it is so easy to work with. The hard part of my card was adding those tiny, gold specks of braid left over from peeling off my ornament hangers from the package. They probably aren't really meant to used but I thought they made my ornaments much more elegant and decorative.
