Stampin B's Let's Picnic

This week's challenge hostess for the Stampin B's Design Team is Vicky Gould. Her challenge is to make a card relating to food of any kind--bonus points if it's a
picnic food.
I got out a little used All Night Media stamp and stamped my fringed tablecloth. I then made a Punch Art hamburger I saw on a youtube.com website, using all Stampin'Up! punches. I think it looks good enough to eat. LOL My watermelon is stamped and so is my little bird. He wanted to see what's going on and maybe get a nibble. The toothpick was used to make a shish kebab with several paper scraps.
Well, let's eat!!!!!!!!!

Stamps: Stampabilities-Juicy Watermelon, Hero Arts-Birds and Branches, All Night Media (no name) for specks on hamburger bun, All Night Media for tablecloth (no name, computer generated sentiment

Punches: SU Modern Label for sentiment, SU oval, oval scallop, circle, 1 1/4" square

StampinB Color Challenge, Aud Sentiments Best Wishes

Glad to be posting today. On my last post this past Saturday, I mentioned I was heading to a college football game (University of Alabama). On the way there, my hubby and I were involved in a 3 car wreck. Fortunately, no one was hurt but the driver's side of our car was ruined from one end to the other. You know what that means...insurance claims, running here and there, calls, all the usual when something like this happens. Just the same, I can't complain.

On to my card. It is for two challenges: Stampin B Design Team here: Lois aka clownmom issued a color challenge for green, pink, and blue. For some reason, I found this to be difficult but moved ahead and got a card made that I am rather pleased with.

The other challenge, Aud Sentiments found here:is to use the sentiment, Best Wishes.

Stamps: Inkadinkado

Paper: Tim Coffey Blossomwood Collection (love this paper), white PTI cs,Colorbox pearlescent paper for butterflies

Martha Stewart eyelet lace punch around the page, Martha Stewart classic butterfly punch

O.K., I will be heading to another football game this weekend: University of Alabama/Penn State. Hope I get there accident free.

Ladybug for the Queen

I made this card to honor QFTD25 on Splitcoaststampers. It is Phyllis aka sparkleplenty1000. She makes fabulous cards and is on the design team at the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I had no problem finding a card to case. I went a bit overboard as I was going to do something mostly white and delicate...well, you know...the best laid plans of mice and men. LOL

I also entered my card into the Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers. My inspiration was a ladybug potholder from Elizabeth's Embellishments here:

I am joining in the challege at The Paper Players found here: It is an "Anything Goes" challenge #13. That is always easy peasy.

Stamps: Ladybugs and Carnations from Mark's Finest Papers
Paper: Best Occasions Mixed Media from frame die cut, SU Real Red cs, black cs
Martha Stewart ladybug punch around the page, Martha Stewart double loop edge punch
Brads from Hobby Lobby
sheer ribbon

Off to the first football game of the season to see my National Championship team, the University of Alabama, play. Roll Tide!!!!

Holiday Birds - Challenges

I just love these little birds and it is the perfect card for today's Free for All F4A28 challenge on Splitcoaststampers. We are to make a card with an aviary theme and throw in one color we don't care for or normally use. I guess that would be yellow for me. I used only a little as a little dab will do me. LOL

I also am entering this card into the CES challenge found here. It is an "Anything Goes" challenge.

Also, my card is for a challenge at A Crafty Little Place found here. It is also an "Anything Goes" challenge.

Winter Tree

Thursday's challenge 'Ways To Use It' on Splitcoaststampers was to make a one layer card, no dp, although we could add some layers on top and embellies. I used an image from a stamp set I won playing the Speedy's Friends Challenge here.

I dabbed on a lot of glossy accents to the tree and added some Dazzling Diamonds...really gave a sparkle to the tree.

Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers (Snowman Country) To be released in October
Stampin'Up Dazzling Diamonds
Ranger glossy accents
Spellbinder's square, scalloped nestabilitie
