CCEE STAMPERS

It's time for the CCEE STAMPERS challenge and it is to focus on the sentiment. I'm using a Stampin'Up! set, Whimsical Words for my sentiment and it is framed with a Spellbinders Shapeabilities Floral Doily Motif die cut to which I added pearls.

I absolutely love these Marianne Design embossing/cutting folders and mine is called Swirls.

My other die cuts are for the corners and butterfly.  The corners are made with  Spellbinders Shapeabilities Pendants Contemporary Hearts and the butterfly is from Cheery Lynn Designs-Exotic Butterfly

The cardstock is PTI white, unknown pink and blue cardstock, unknown dp from a LSS (had no name)

Flower is from Hobby Lobby

Hope you'll come along and join us this week here.

The CAS (clean and simple) challenge on Splitcoaststampers today is a sketch and I really wanted to make a card for it.

FOSTV-Use a Border Punch

Good Morning! Hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend.

Today's challenge at FOSTV located at the Home of Speedy TV is to use a border punch. I haven't used my Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch many times (if ever) so I thought I would get it out and use it for this challenge

This week we are giving away this awesome stamp set to a lucky winner, Sending Happy Thoughts.

If you join our Friends of Speedy TV challenge, you have a chance of winning it. Just go to Home of Speedy TV,  look for our challenge and upload with the inlinkz tool. This week is challenge #12.

My card is using the stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company called Relax A Bit. I stamped my image twice, colored, cut out and popped up the other. Glossy accents were added to the roses.  I just made my sentiment tab using the scissors to cut the end shape. My recipe is below.

I didn't think I would be making another card today but I need to make a card for Joan's Gardens challenge
#10. Here are the requirements:
 1. Create an Easter card with a bunny
 2. Use an embossed background
 3. Colors appropriate for Easter
 4. Some kind of flourish
 5. Rhinestones

Also, today on Splitcoaststampers, Diane aka pinkberry has been named Featured Stamper so I wanted to case one of her cards to honor her. I cased this one. I mostly kept her layout.

I also want to enter my card into this challenge: The Ribbon Girl Blog-create a new card following the color theme of aqua and white

Blog Candy....Just Because

Here I am again with some good blog candy. As I have said before, I love giving away good crafting materials to my blogging and crafting buddies. All of you are what keeps me going and loving to make my cards.

I have been collecting for a while and last night I went to Jo Ann Stores and found a scalloped banner punch which I had not seen before. I have a pennant die but this punch is so easy, I thought I would get myself one. I went to the cashier and the clerk said they were on sale so I got another one for some lucky person that wins my candy.

Here is what I have for candy this time:
1-Spellbinders die (Poseabilities Collection) Snowflake Wonder die
1- stamp set-Dear Lizzy + American Crafts-Warble
1- Cuttlebug embossing folder-Kassie's Brocade-5 x 7
1- Fiskars Scalloped Banner punch
1-Martha Stewart Crafts deep edge punch-Happy Birthday

Here is what you do to be eligible to win:

1. Post my candy on your sidebar
2. Leave a comment ---one per person only
3.You do not have to become a follower....of course, I do love followers so would love if you did

The deadline to enter is 12:00 noon CST on Monday, 4/09/2012. I'll make the draw and  the winner will be announced on Wednesday, 04/11/2012.

Either email me (from my profile) or leave a comment on my blog if you're the winner and  so I can get in touch with you. I must be able to have a mailing address.

The winner must notify me within 2 days (no later than 4/13/2012 by midnight CST)  or I'll have to choose a different winner.

Good luck! Always stay tuned because you never know when I'll have more candy.

Sneak Peek-MFP, A Heinrich Company

I cased Melina aka mepylant on Splitcoaststampers as she is the reigning Queen this week. Melina is such
a sweet girl and has a gallery full of CAS cards. I chose this card to case. I'm using a soon-to-be-released stamp set called Mother's Magnolias from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company. It's a great set for Mother's Day, Easter, Birthdays,  etc. The release will be next Tuesday and that is when the blog hop begins. Hope you'll join us here.

As you can see, my card is very simple. I stamped the magnolia twice, colored, popped on and made the strips from black scraps. I'm using Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company cardstock called Morning Sun. My bottom pearls really are the same size...I promise. :-) One of them looks different and I think it is because of the way the light hit it.

This may be my last card until Monday. If so, hope you all have a spectacular weekend. Thanks for visiting!

CCEE STAMPERS

Joanne gave the challenge at CCEE STAMPERS to make a card with an international flair using language, image, or embellishment. I recently won some stamp sets from Crafty Individuals and this is one of them. I thought it was good for this challenge. I added some London stickers (Paper House) in the corners to go with the image.

My designer paper is unknown and I'm using PTI vintage cream cardstock. The sentiment is Provo Craft repositionable alphabet.

We would love for you to come over and join us this week.

Before I go off to choir practice, a quick post of a card I made for the Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers this week. I wanted to honor a fellow DT member and this is the card I cased. I'm sure many of you are familiar with her...a queen of clean cards. The Queen I'm honoring is Harriet aka hskelly on SCS.
