CAS and Masculine
CCEE1325
Well, looks as if I am a bit late with my Father's Day card. I looked at the calendar before I made the card to be sure this challenge was before Father's Day. I guess I had other things on my mind because I was WRONG. Not only that, I made two of these cards and neither got mailed out as I was out of town and forgot to mail before I left. So, I guess I can use them next year.
I'm hostess for the CCEE Stampers challenge for the month of June and this week I'm asking that you create a CAS masculine card. I really love making CAS cards and they take so little time. Plus, it is always great to have a card on hand for males.
Let's see what you make this week. Just upload with the inlinkz tool at CCEE Stampers. Have fun!

I'm hostess this month for the CCEE Stampers challenge. I'm asking we make a baby card/girl or boy (bonus points if you add in some soft yellow or soft green). As you see, I went with a boy card. I never have baby cards on hand....now I have ONE. :-)
We look forward to seeing what you make this week. Just upload with our inlinkz tool so we can take a peek.

X's and O's=Kisses
CAS-UAL FRIDAYS CFC104 challenge this week is to use banners and/or flags on your simple
creation.
I am sure you realize x's and o's equal kisses. That is what I have here. The banners are the 'x' and the button is the 'o'.
I added a sentiment from Inspired by Stamping/Big Wishes II. It's new and I love it so I had to use it and make a card to enter into one of their challenges: Inspired by Stamping Customer Gallery: http://joannamunster.com/customer-gallery/

Big Birthday Wishes
It's time for the Queen for the Day and Free for All challenges on Splitcoaststampers. The new queen is Phyllis aka Tater. I cased this card. The Free for All (F4A172) challenge is to use at least four flowers. I have three different flowers and some leaves but stamped them more than once for each so that works. I colored my leaves and flowers from Inspired by Stamping (listed below in recipe) with Copics.
My card will be entered into the Inspired by Stamping Customer Gallery-http://joannamunster.com/customer-gallery/

Color me Bright
Thursday is here again and I'm here for the CCEE Stampers challenge #1323. I am giving the challenges this month and I have chosen for the first challenge to create a card using the Direct to Paper technique. I really like this technique and it is easy peasy. The stripes don't have to be perfect, which mine aren't. It's also o.k. if you overlap a bit. It's best if you do light inks first so you don't contaminate the pads...hmmm..looks as if I didn't exactly follow that guideline. If you're needing instructions for this technique, they can be found here on Splitcoaststampers.
My card is really bright but I like it. I just made swipes with five different inks pads, added the circle and sentiments from an Inspired by Stamping Cute Circles set and the hanger is Jolee's silver flourishes cabochons. It has rhinestones in the little swirls and I see they're not showing very well.
Take a look at what the DT did and get out those ink pads and let us see what you created. It really is fun.

BIG GREETINGS
My card was an easy peasy CAS card and made using this sketch from Merry Monday challenge #65. This is a Christmas challenge. Well, I did have to take a bit of time getting that gold embossed sentiment just right. The letters are up and down and it would look crooked to me and I would do it over...quite a few times. Ugh!
I am using self adhesive crafting tape (2 strips) bought a couple years ago at Hobby Lobby. It's just about the same as Washi tape. I used gold mirror paper for the Martha Stewart punched snowflake and added a rhinestone.
I'm lucky I remembered seeing where someone had uploaded a card to a red, green and gold challenge and that is just what I used. Yea!!! So, I went searching for it and found it.

Fit for a Queen
It's Friday again! How the time flies. I've worked in the yard this week and neglected the house. So, I'll try to make a short post and do a little housework. How boring!!
At Splitcoaststampers, the new Queen for the Day is Stacy aka Twinshappy. Here is the card I chose to case. Of course, I made a few changes. I know it is Spring but I'm using mums on my card. I suppose I can hold it until I can use it in the Fall season. I've had this image colored for quite sometime and thought it fit this card really well.
Hope you all have a great weekend doing whatever you enjoy. I appreciate you coming by my blog.

Picnic Time
CCEE1322
For the last challenge of the month at CCEE Stampers, Shirley gave the theme--It's A Picnic.
We could have certainly had a picnic around here for the last several days. We had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend and it continues with plenty of warm temps and sunshine. I'm loving it.
I've gotten a lot of yard work completed.
Not much to say about this one. I colored my digital image with Copics, stamped and cut out a little bee, and added my sentiment on Martha Stewart tags.
We hope you're in the mood for a picnic and will link your card using our inlinkz tool this week.

Most Special Night
Merry Monday #64-Christmas card challenge
Just making one Christmas card a week will put me ahead of the game when it is time to start making Christmas cards to send out. The stress will have to be less than normal and I'll be a happy stamper.
Sketch this week:
Of course, this is Christmas Eve night and so peaceful. I made a scene with a stamp from Gina K. Designs/Holiday Cheer stamp set. The trees were embossed using VersaMark and white embossing powder. For the star, I used VersaMark Dazzle and embossed with Stamp 'N Stuff jeweled gold embossing powder.
Rest of recipe:
Paper-Stampin'Up! night of navy and Georgia Pacific white
Ink-Stampin'Up! Night of Navy
Other Accessories-Sakura gelly roll pen (on trees and snow line), EK Success star punch

Queen's Case
I bet you thought my graduation card posted yesterday would be it for me. No, I can't stop this week. I've made several cards, haven't I?
Yikes! I hope I didn't go too bright for the Inspired by Stamping challenge #54 of yellow, green, and white. I sprayed my paper with ink spray and you can see that it is a more yellow tint at the bottom of my paper. I swiped it with a paper towel but it stayed very bright. It is poppin'! IRL, it doesn't look quite this bright. I guess this is where the challenge police show up. LOL
My card is also for the Queen for the Day, Emily aka Stamp Muse on Splitcoaststampers. I chose this card to case from her wonderful gallery. Her butterfly is just beautiful, as is her card.
