A Wintry Cold Snap

Stampin B's Design Team hostess this week is Vicki Dutcher and she challenged us to make a 'Home' card.
I didn't have a stamp suitable for this challenge so I used a digital image from Stamp-n-doodle. I watercolored the barn, house, and moon. Then, for a wintry, icy look, I sprinkled Twinklets diamond dust and dazzling diamonds in the snow, trees, and on some of the rooftops. I thought this image called for a country ribbon and I placed a pretty brad in the center.
We would love for you to join us this week.

I'm entering my card into these challenges:
One Stitch At a Time challenge #38-Winter Wonderland
The One Stop Craft Challenge Blog #105-Embossing

Recipe:
Stamp-Digital image called Cold Snap from Stamp-n-doodle
Paper: Stampin'Up! Real Red, PTI white cardstock, Gray cardstock from Hobby Lobby, Canson watercolor paper
Accessories: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, Stampin'Up! Dazzling Diamonds, Twinklets Diamond Dust from FloraCraft, Holiday Inspiration ribbon from Jo-Ann Stores, Tombow markers and watercolor brush, Tim Coffey Studio18 epoxy stickers

What a fabulous winter scene. Hoping we don't get that much snow as I hate shoveling it all LOL!

Hi Benzi, Love this scene, isn't it good that we don't get all that snow in Alabama. I have never tried water colors. But, you have done a wonderful job.

Oh, Benzi, this home scene is wonderful!! I just love your watercoloring and fancy glitterly accents. You picked a good one for this challenge!

Good idea to turn digi when you don't own a suitable stamp. I hadn't considered that. Love your country theme.
