Spring and Summer Delights

Good morning! It has warmed up in my part of the country but very cloudy and dreary. We are expecting just a small amount of sleet and snow tomorrow night....nothing like a week ago.

I'm feeling a little pink and girly today. I love pink and brown together and don't use it enough...so here goes!
Yes, the ribbon is pink and brown...not black. I made a card using a lot of brown last week and almost everyone thought it was black and white. It was Chocolate Chip which is a dark brown, so all are forgiven for commenting about my black and white card. LOL Maybe it was my lighting, huh?

This week on Splitcoaststampers, the featured stamper #206 is whoistracy. Wow! Such beautiful work she does! I don't always manage to case the featured stampers but I try as I know how much fun it is to be a featured stamper and have everyone case-ing your cards and giving you wonderful praise. Sure makes a person want to continue with the craft. I saw this awesome card and knew it was the one I wanted to work with. I love hers because it is a Christmas card but I must move on to other images now.

I'm also entering my card into these challenges:
Wee MemoriesWMC39-For the Love of Ribbon - use ribbon on your card
Stamp Something=Anything Goes

I am using my Martha Stewart peg stamp starter kit and I just love it! It has so many stamps and they are so  easy to work with for mixing and matching. It even comes with the ink (4 colors). I used nesabilities, unlike Tracy. It was so much easier for me...and easy is what I needed. I have one panel behind the stamped squares, added a ribbon and that's it! Easy peasy.

Recipe:
Stamps: Martha Stewart peg stamp starter kit
Paper: Stampin'Up! Kraft and Old Olive, PTI white cardstock
Ink: From stamp kit
Accessories: Spellbinders classic square scallop nestabilities, Ribbon from LSS

Benzi, I love this pretty card!! Pink and brown are SO pretty together. I love the green splashed in, too. What a cute layout--I love how each square is different! I'm looking forward to seeing your StampinB card tomorrow. :)

Great card Brenda ... the colours are so pretty together and I love the summery images.
Hope you don't get any more of the white stuff ... we've had the most beautiful sunny day today and then this evening is really cold with a crunchy frost and a bright full moon! (...still wish it was summer time though!)

I too like pink and brown together, but for some reason, I rarely use it! This card has all the earmarks of spring and warmer weather! I'll keep this in mind when we get our next 2-4" of snow tomorrow night into Friday! (again!) These tiny stamps are really cute and I love what you've done with them here! Think spring!!!

I love pink and brown together. Don't know why I don't use it more. Anyway, this makes me think of Spring and today in NC it felt like Spring!

This just screams spring to me ... yea! Love that ribbon too! I hoping the snow misses us, even if it is just a dusting. I've seen enough of the white stuff ... LOL

This is so pretty Brenda! Love the spring theme! I'm so ready for spring with our below zero temps here in Michigan! Pink and brown is one of my favorite color combos and I love it with the green! Great card!
