Seeds and Flowers

NO, my paper is not cut crooked...that is the way it came...patterned on a slant. This week the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #105 is to use patterns-3 patterned papers. I am using a double-sided paper for 2 of mine (one is green with flourishes -look closely to see the design) and the other is the green and teal plaid (the slanted paper that came that way). My yellow dp is unknown. I am using a Flourishes stamp set called Seeds of Friendship.

All of the punched flowers are using the same patterned paper. I stamped some of the images on the petals of my large, punched flower and used a button on top. I punched a couple more flowers and added some microbeads. I can't believe I got them out because last time I was brave enough, I spilled a thousand of those tiny things. This time I was smarter and prepared, spilling only around three.
Good for me, huh? Improvement!
No, that twisted ribbon is not supposed to be a stem because that would make my flower sideways, wouldn't it?
It is just added for ribbon and some more yellow.

CR84FN Color Challenge #15-Use teal, yellow, and green  (See the graphic below) I just had to make a card using these awesome Spring colors.

Stamping Vacation-Lots of paper (paper that resembles cloth) plaid
Bunny Zoe's Crafts-challenge #9-Spring/Flowers Everywhere (punched flowers and button flower)

Ink: Memento Pear Tart
Accessories: Button JHB from Hobby Lobby, Martha Stewart luster glass microbeads, glossy accents, yellow grosgrain ribbon, The Paper Studio punches-1", 1 3/8", 2" for flowers

Oh, now this is so SWEET, Benzi!! You did an awesome job using these pretty challenge colors (I'm hoping to play along with that challenge sometime this week, too!), and I {heart} those patterned papers and punched flowers. But what really caught my eye is that awesome Flourishes seed packet!! I'd totally forgotten about that set. I don't have it, but I do have a $10 g.c. to spend at Flourishes, so seeing your seed packet has given me some ideas . . .

This is so pretty with that funky flower and I love the microbeads in the center! I really like how you twisted the ribbon to create a stem for the flower! I've never seen that done before and it looks wonderful! I really like the fresh, spring-like colors you used for this, even if the plaid DP is cut on the slant :)

Perfect take onthe insp. pics. Love the colour combo, though I must say that slanted paper caused me to seize up a bit LOL! You know my aversion to skewed panel on sketches and since I just finished a card with one I'm still sensitive LOL! Darling flowers and great challenge card.

Perfect card for a gardener! That stamp set is fab! Gorgeous papers too ... though I don't think I could cope with your slanted paper - my cards are 'wonky' enough on their own LOL!
