The Featured Stamper #213 this week on Splitcoaststampers is Neva aka n5stamper. I cased this card of hers.
Actually, I failed to notice this was a card she had cased that belonged to her daughter. Hope they will both like my card.
Don't you just hate when you photograph a card and tweak and tweak and can never get the color like it was on the card? I used every kind of light possible, including daylight. After doing everything I could and getting nothing but blue, I decided to let it be.
I stamped directly onto my aqua(or blue, ugh) paper, embossed with a white, deep impression embossing powder, cut out and popped a few of the leaves. It was finished after I added the sentiment and ribbon.
I am entering my card into these challenges:
Stamptacular Sunday #101-You Lucky Duck-Create a Good Luck, Congratulations, or Best Wishes card or project - Be sure to use a stamp
"Less is More" #5-Pastel Colors
Stampin for the Weekend #5-Spring (use a stamped image)
Simply Create #38-Flowers
Recipe:
Stamp: Penny Black-Windflower, Stampin'Up! Well Scripted
Paper: PTI white cardstock, Hobby Lobby for blue/green
Ink: Stampin'Up! Chocolate Chip
Accessories: white, deep impression embossing powder, Offray ribbon

This is just beautiful with that dreamy blue color, and the color looks fine on my end! I love the white embossing of the image and that great piece of ribbon! Gorgeous card!!
Very pretty card! Love the shimmery!
This is beautiful Brenda! I love the CAS layout and your 3D leaves! Great card!
Ooooooooo, that's stunning, Benzi! I love your CAS approach to this card. Your embossing is FAB!
So soft and beautiful, Brenda! Love the coloring tech. Fabulous!
Nothing wrong with your card colour but i know what you mean... A few people have mentioned problems with taking images in the dark or on a grey day. Try using a craft light with a daylight bulb in it; this will help with capturing the correct colour and any shadows just take your image off centre.
Your card is so beautiful and i really adore the colours used:-)
Oh, I like the white on the aqua ... pretty pretty Benzi!
Quick question, do you go by Brenda or Benzi?
Have a great day!
Photographing cards can be problematic, but sadly I'm no expert. The colour looks very vivid on my monitor, so I don't know how accurate it is in reality, but notwithstanding all that, it's a very pretty card.
Thanks so much for joining us and we hope to see you again next time!

I spend more time trying to get my photo to look the right color than I do stamping..LOL. This looks great. I think computer screens sometimes make a card look the wrong color too.. Your embossing is awesome. I have such a hard time with it.. Great case.
Good Morning Benzi hope you are getting some warmer weather. Love this card. The embossed flower is really lovely and I love the aqua on the white! Perfect dotted ribbon. ;)
So pretty Benzi. Love the silhouette image and the dimensions. :o)
Wow, that is spectacular. I love the blue colors. It looks wonderful.
