My Favorite Flower-Tulips

Today on SCS, the Queen for the Day #50 is Kim aka Luv Flowers. I chose to case this card of hers.
It is a really simple card and I don't think there is much explanation needed. I stamped my tulips three times and cut out the bloom and popped up twice. Of course, there is some paper tearing.

I am entering my card into the challenges:
Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog  #23-Birthday Wishes
Cute Card Thursday #154-Signs of Spring
Scrapbook Sisters #25-Spring

Recipe: Stamps: Heartfelt Creations-Semper Augustus Tulips, Stampin'Up! Well Scripted
Paper: K&CO Hannah 6 x 6 paper pad PTI white cardstock
Ink: StazOn jet black
Accessories: EK Success rick rack punch

This is so beautiful Brenda! I love your tulip - your coloring is gorgeous! Love the pastel patterned paper and the CAS layout! So pretty and a perfect birthday card that would be easily sent through the mail! Love it!

They're my favorite flower too :) I was in 7th heaven the year I lived in Amsterdam and got to have them in the house all the time. Better yet was going to the Buchart Gardens for tulips - amazing landscaping with tulip beds everywhere. This card brought back many memories :) Love the torn edge and all the white space too.

I don't know why, but plaid DP just intrigues me and I love to see it used on cards! I love the torn edges and especially how you popped up that pretty tulip! It's such a pretty card!

Your tulip looks so real ... pretty card!

The Florence high school soccer team was supposed to come to Huntsville today for a game. Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating. Try and stay dry today and enjoy your weekend!
