Stampin' B's-Spring Scene

The hostess this week for the Stampin' B's Design Team challenge is Nancyruth and she asked for a Spring scene. I think my little girl on a swing fits that perfectly. I remember those Spring days doing the very same thing.
Ah....to be that young again.

I am using a Tatty Button image called Swing Time. It is from Creative Expressions. I stamped and colored her on a Spellbinders Grand Nestabilitie, sponged some clouds and green for the grass. Then, it was finished with a crinkled ribbon and a couple buttons.

We hope you'll play along this week. If so, link your creation to the inlinkz tool on the Stampin' B's blog here.
I'm entering my card into the Tuesday Throwdown  challenge #49- Boys and Girl Come Out to Play

Recipe:
Stamps: Tatty Button Swing Time from Creative Expressions
Paper: PTI white cardstock, My Mind's Eye -Lime Twist paper pad
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics, Spellbinders Grand Nestabilitie Labels 4, crinkled ribbon, buttons

Brenda, how fun is this? The image is priceless to say the least. I didn't have many carefree and flowing times in my childhood; but, through this image, I can feel it. Thanks for that gift. You did a spectacular job with the spring scene. P.S. After I call Audzi, I'll see if I can find a swing to swing on!! LOL!

I really like the image you chose and the colors are so vivid and pretty! Great card for spring! Oddly enough, I used a tree for my card and thought it needed a little tire swing to finish it off perfectly....but I don't have one, so it's plain :)

This is so fun. She looks so carefree. I love the clouds. They look real. She looks like she could just swing right off that card. Nancy Ruth picked a great theme.. Love NR. I was lucky enough to meet her. She is a gem. Great job.

Your sponged clouds look so light and airy, which of course is the whole point to a cloud! And that girl on a swing definitely represents a good spring day. Cute!
