Want to Make a Hydrangea

Today I made a card honoring the QFTD on Splitcoasterstampers. It is Mary aka jandjccc. I cased this card of hers. Except, I changed her butterfly to a hydrangea I made using this tutorial from Kittie Caracciolo.  It is an easy tutorial and I had a lot of fun making my flower.

I am entering my card into these challenges:
A Spoonfull of Sugar #154-Flower Power
Crafts and Me Challenges #37-Punch it Out
Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog #30-Make your own embellishments
Divas by Design-Florals

Recipe:
Stamps: Stampin'Up! Well Scripted
Paper: PTI white cardstock, blue embossed from a scrapbook store (no name)
Ink: Memento Bahama Blue
Accessories: Martha Stewart hydrangea punch, blue gemstones. Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Folder, Spellbinder Shapeabilites Foliage (for leaves), assorted punches (see tutorial for sizes)

FABULOUS flower! It looks so real. Better be a hand delivery though as this puppy is one thick card :)

OHHH W-O-W!!!! Brenda, what a stunner, its so realistic! Our hydrangea is just about to burst into flower and yours would fit in just nicely! (Last year we had 2 flowers on it, this year after such a hard winter its absolutely covered ... go figure?!)

This is Awesome...one of my favorite flowers you made. They wont grow here in the desert but when I was a floral designer I used them often!!

Oh, Benzi, Benzi, Benzi! You have recreated a flower from my garden! (and one of my faves, I might add) THat looks like it took lots of punching. I absolutely love this. Glad you kept the layout clean so the flower could really shine. :)
