Birds at the Feeder

I just love case-ing the cards of fellow stampers and on Splitcoaststampers today, a new Queen for the Day was crowned. It is Julia aka artystamper and here is the wonderful card I cased. I didn't use a silhouette image but kept her sketch mostly.

I am entering my card into the challenge at Charisma Cardz Challenges #29-Sunshine colors

Well, I'm off today to buy shrubs and hope the rain doesn't come again today so we can get them out tomorrow. It seems the heat of the day brings on late afternoon storms quite often. But, that does mean I don't have to water as much and that's great.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Inkadinkado (no name) #60-00499 (picked up at Michael's), Stampin'Up! Vintage Labels-sentiment
Paper: PTI white cardstock, Marrakech-calming moon, ColorMates light terra cotta
Ink: Memento Dandelion, Cantaloupe, and Bahama Blue
Accessories: corner rounder, Spellbinders deckle nestabilitie, Stampin'Up! 1 1/4" circle punch and scallop circle punch

This is so cheerful and beautiful, Benzi!! Great colors and fabulous birds. I think we've been sharing your afternoon heat--we have 103 right now, which is wicked hot for New England. Would you like to have it back? I'm pretty sure we're through with all that here.

I love the way you colored all these birds! This scene reminds me of our friends who live in TN. When we stayed with them, we spent every morning watching the birds fly into the yard to feed while we had coffee and ate breakfast! Thanks for bringing that memory back :)

Love that stamp and how you brought it to life on your card! Gorgeous!

Hope you found some nice shrubs. Try not to fade into the dirt while planting them!

Ooh what a gorgeous birdie stamp (...you must have the best stash of bird stamps in blogland LOL!) and beautiful colours too.
Hope you managed to get your gardening done, that's just what I'm heading to do now, there's a few weeds with my name on them!

Hey, take that rain while you can get it. It is bone-dry in the Houston area, where my mom lives. Hasn't rained but once since January! Love, love, love that birdie image - it's so you!
