Vicky Gould asked the Stampin' B's Design Team to make a card using at least two Spellbinder dies. Yikes! I may be in trouble as I used two but they are the same die. I didn't mean for that to happen but as the card went along, it had to happen...not good planning, I suppose. No challenge police....please.
There are no rules on this challenge so I feel fairly safe. :-)
I sometimes like to do non traditional colors on my Christmas cards. I wanted to use this stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers called Snowman Country and used only the tree, which I gold embossed. My dies are Spellbinders deckle nesties. I really like the designer paper which my sister gave me. It is My Mind's Eye-Lost & Found Christmas (pad)...which gave it a vintage look, therefore, the distressing. Rest of recipe is below.
Hope you'll get out your dies and join us.
Recipe:
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers-Snowman Country-sentiment is the dp
Paper: Stampin'Up! Chocolate Chip, PTI vintage cream
Accessories: Recollections floral embellishment, Spellbinders deckle nestabilitie, red gemstones, VersaMark Dazzle, Stamp 'n Stuff jeweled gold embossing powder, Offray-Galena metallic ribbon

What beautiful paper! Your sister has great taste! I love the tree with the deckle nesties.
this is a beautiful christmas card benzi-love your card layout as well-looks like it would be an easy one to mass produce
This is lovely, Benzi! Great use of your nesties. :)
I love that tree image embossed in gold! The tilted panels look great, and I love the non-traditional colors too! And yes! I've often gone to clean my room and ended up making a card! I think it might be called "addiction!" :)
Gorgeous! Love the nesties and the pretty non-traditional colors! Love the embossing too!e
No rules -- you used it twice! That's two dies, right? Very pretty non-traditional colors Christmas card.
Classical beauty! I'll bet that tree would also look gorgeous gold embossed on the chocolate piece of cardstock, because of the dark color.
I love what you did with your image!! and the rose too! The colors are wonderful together and a great break from the traditional look! How very pretty!
