Winter Cardinal

It's Thursday and time for another Stampin' B's Design Team challenge. Jojot wants to see birds, birds, birds on our cards this week. That is certainly not hard for me, being a bird lover. I am using a Mark's Finest Papers set  stamp set called Greetings of the Season. Isn't this a beautiful image?
Hope you'll join us this week. Just go to the link above and use the inlinkz tool to upload your pretty bird cards/projects.

I picked up this wonderful paper pad from T.J. Maxx...one of those large pads that are normally $19.99 and I paid $5.99. It is a DCWV Thankful Seasons Stack. Sooo, if you have one of those stores, you may want to check it out. You never know what you'll find there.

Challenges entered:
Stampin' Sisters in Christ #110-Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly Challenge-Get in Shape (use 3 different shapes on your card) mine are square for the base, rectangle for the punch around the page, oval for the image die.
Anything Goes Challenge Blog-#51-Die cuts/punches or both

Recipe:
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers-Greetings of the Season
Paper:PTI vintage cream, DCWV Thankful Seasons Stack, red cardstock from Hobby Lobby, brown is unknown
Ink: Stampin'Up! Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Cheery Lynne Designs flourish die, Martha Stewart eyelet lace punch around the page, Copics, Spellbinders oval and oval scallop die cuts

Oh I love that Cardinal! You've colored him so beautiful! I love birds but we don't have cardinals here. :(
Seriously! TJ MAXX!! We've had that store here for a few years but I've never been in it. I thought all they sold was clothing for young people. Guess where I'm going next trip to town? Fantastic papers and I love the punched border and swirl.
Blessings Bernie

Oooh, I grabbed four of those DCWV pads at my TJ Maxx too (different flavors, though)!! What a bargain, eh?

Great cardinal image, so richly colored, and he looks beautiful against those purty new papers.
