Wintry Birthday

Winter is just getting started and we all have snow on our minds (maybe we'll even get some here in the deep south again this year). I have several January birthdays so I thought this pretty snowflake from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company would be great to use. Plus, blue always looks like winter to me. The stamp sets I'm using are MFP's Ice and Snow and the MFP set All About Love mini (sentiment).

I got this new Memory Box Larue Flourish die for Christmas and layered it on top of my Martha Stewart eyelet lace punch around the page and behind the Spellbinders peony die on which I stamped my snowflake. The Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder always reminds me of falling snow so I added it for texture. Then, there is the large gemstone and sentiment and it is all finished!

Entering these challenges:

Oooo look at that. I have been ogling over those new Memory Box dies and can see a couple in my future-and now that I have seen your card they may be not to "far" away in my future. And don't say "snow" in the south-it's a dirty word. I think I forgot how to drive on it. Last time on drove on snow in Connecticut I did a doughnut in the middle of the road - and I used to drive on it like a pro, nothing phased me.

Your card is just gorgeous with that pretty die cut behind the snowflake. That MS punch is so pretty too-one of my favorites. This is sure to please and delight the birthday person.

Bear Hugs,
Carol

It's so much fun to see all those different elements come together to make such a pretty card. I like that center die. It's very delicate. A very pretty, wintry birthday card!
