Get Well Card

I've updated Blogger and having to get used to it. I'm just wondering how everyone likes it. I guess none of us likes change and I'm longing for the old style back. As a matter of fact, this post was scheduled for just after midnight and it didn't post until I got up this morning and got it posted. Ugh!
Maybe I'll un-update. LOL

I worked in my yard this weekend and I'm exhausted. That is hard but enjoyable work. I may put up some photos of my yard and flowers soon. I've made a few over the last few years. :-)

This week, challenge #14 at Friends of Speedy TV (FOSTV) at Home of Speedy TV is to make a get well card. I am using sketch #348 from Splitcoaststampers and I really like it and will use it again. One of the stamp sets I'm using is from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company and is called Black Eyed Susans for Encouragement. I stamped it twice, colored, and popped the second layer. I really like the back panel of dots. It is from  a set called Flaps My Wattles, also from Mark's Finest Papers.  I stamped the back strip several times down the panel, stamping off a few times.

You really should come join us, make a card, add with the inlinkz tool,  and you could possibly be the lucky winner of this stamp set we're giving away this week, You Light Up Your Life.

This is a separate challenge from  Speedy Fox and Friends Blog challenge where there is also a stamp set given away to a lucky winner.

I'm entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog-Anything Goes

Recipe:
Stamps listed above

What better for a get well wish than lovely yellow flowers! I don't like the new blogger either. It seems like I have to take 2 steps to do some things I could do in one. I guess I'll get used to it.

Those flowers are colored so beautifully, and I love the tilted panels! I really like the dramatic effect of the black & orange horizontal border too! SO pretty!

I updated blogger several weeks ago, figuring I'd do it while I still had a choice! It's not too bad once you figure it all out but it did take me a while!!

More pretty flowers - I love how you did these. They look just like flowers that I would grow if I grew flowers - you would just have to change a few things to make them just like mine (like add about 50 bug chews on them, make them a tad droopy, then brown them up a bit so they look like someone forgot to water them - LOL). Hugz!!!
