LOVE

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. It was sunny and warm here in my part of AL so hubby and I worked in the yard....very hard. We cleaned out and re-mulched a bed, went to a couple of plant nurseries, potted some plants, and just had a good time. It wasn't so fun when we finished and I realized how tired I was. :-)

It's time for the CAS271 challenge on Splitcoaststampers. This week we are to case a card from a past DT CAS member and that person is Angela Maine aka Arizona Maine. What a beautiful gallery. Believe me, I could case all her cards. This is the card I chose to case.

You can see the changes I made while keeping it fairly close to hers.

Recipe:
Stamps-Inspired by Stamping/Little Flowers (sentiment)
Paper-PTI white cardstock, Stampin'Up! Old Olive cardstock, Bazzill Gumball cardstock
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories- Spellbinders Shapeabilities/Bird Sanctuary, Taylored Expressions/Bless Your Nest die/bird, Cheery Lynn Designs/Fanciful Flourish die, Recollections mulberry paper mini roses, Flower Soft peel off stickers (chain)

Lovely card, Benzi. Wow I would have never guessed that the chain was a sticker. Very nice card. That yard work can really do you in, huh? Last week I dug up a 30 year old rhododendron, what a job, but I could hardly move the next day. Getting too old for this stuff, but I'm thankful I CAN do it. Enjoy the rest of the week.

Both are just adorable cards, but I'm gonna have weigh heavily in favor of yours because of this lovely little bluebird (bet you guessed that!). Loved the pale yellow roses on your inspiration card, but yours is just as pretty as can be. Love this birdhouse die too! TFS & hope you got to rest up some today. Hugs

I agree with Angela's cards being so pretty, but so are yours! This hanging birdcage looks so pretty on the silver "chain" and I just love the pop of colors with the bird, flourish and flowers! I like how you worked the sentiment into the top of the cage too! A beautiful card! I'm glad you got your yard work done and had beautiful weather for the weekend ;)

This is just beautiful Brenda. I love how you do these CAS cards. They are just so hard for me to do. We did indeed have a wonderful weekend. My boys were both busy working so I crafted all weekend. Hugs, joann

This is magnificent, Benzi! I had to look at that chain several times. I just can hardly believe it's a sticker. I'm going to have to go explore Flower Soft stickers! :-D

This is so pretty, Brenda! Great inspiration for me as I have sweet bird cages in my piles of NBUS! Your weekend sounds familiar. The yard work in the spring is so worth all the aches and pains as everything gets cleaned up/out and revitalized! Hugs, Darnell
