Favorite Snowman

I returned from my Thanksgiving trip and had so much to do when I returned that I have not been crafting until I found time to make a card with my favorite snowman....ever.  My sister gave me this snowman stamp several years ago and I love it to pieces.

I'll get around to my blog pals today and leave some comments. I probably won't go back and try to catch up, though, but will get to see the pretty things you've been making while I was away.

I masked off the snowman image and sponged around it. The image is colored with Copics and I've added some sparkle (which can't be seen), and added snowflakes with watercolor paint. The trim around the hat is Liquid Applique.

I wanted to make a card for the QFTD192 on Splitcoaststampers. It is Beverly aka ruby-heartedmom
and this is what I wanted to case....a snowman. It is nothing like hers but it is celebrating snowmen. :-)

Stampin' Royalty has a challenge (#205) this week that is to incorporate snowflakes. Mine aren't stamped, punched, or die cut but added with watercolor paint.

Inky Impressions Challenge Blog-#137--- Winter or Snow---They want to see chilly images, perhaps a few snowflakes, or people dressed for the cold.
