Round, Fat Snowman

I need just a few more Christmas cards and I had not yet used this fun, round snowman this year. It's is another one I really like. The card is really prettier in real life. I used a digi image (recipe below) and ran it off twice, cut out both and popped one on the other giving it a 3 D effect. I used a snowflake embossing folder and snowflake paper.

A challenge I'm doing this week was introduced to me by Crafting Cathy (where she is a step sister for November and December. It is  The Sisterhood of Crafters. The theme is ALL THAT GLITTERS. They want to see some Christmas Sparkle--rhinestones, glitter, or Stickles. I have the red rhinestones and Dazzling Diamonds on my snowman.

Here is a closer view:

I hope you like the black and white for Christmas. I like it but wouldn't do a lot of my cards with it. I had a paper pack with it and the matching paper for the strip and thought I should use it.

Another of my favorite challenges is Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-The challenge this week is LET IT SNOW....ie snowflakes, snowmen, snowfall....that's the idea...

Digi Darla's Challenges-#92-want to see a snowman or Santa on your entry this week. Well, I'm all about a snowman. Wish I had time to do another card and use one of Darla's images.

I've found a new (for me) challenge, A Creative Romance and would love to join in with my card.
The theme is Sparkle at Christmas.

Speedy's Friends -Mark's Finest Papers, EtsyInspired Challenge, Anything Goes Challenge Blog

I am using my favorite stamp of all time. I love snowmen and there is something about this one that sends me into a happy dance. Actually, I am just using part of the image. This time I wanted to cut out only the wind-blown snowman and pop him up. I also stamped the image again on Night of Navy and wet embossed  the scarf with white embossing powder and popped it on. I have dry embossed snowflakes on silver mirror paper and it really embosses so well.  I rather like my scrunchy ribbon, too. Added a sentiment that I thought was just perfect and that's it.

I am entering my card into these three challenges:
Speedy's Friends --Mark's Finest Papers Challenge #29-Use a snowflake on your card (I  think I got that covered).
Anything Goes Challenge Blog #24-Emboss It

EtsyInspired Challenge #114 -My inspiration was  this necklace. It reminded me of a scrunchy ribbon, which I added to my card.
