Altered Tin

Can't you just imagine this tin full of yummy goodies? Fudge, bon bons, gingerbread....hmmmmm
I got in the mood to alter something after seeing all the pretty altered items from Mark's Finest Papers
12 days of Christmas Blog Hop. I am using a Mark's Finest Papers stamp set called Christmas in the Country.  I have layered a doily and a couple of nestabilities. The designer paper was already covered with white spots which  look like snow. I stamped directly onto the designer paper and stamped a couple more times, cutting out the church and shrubs so I could pop them on.

The border is a Martha Stewart Frosty Village edge punch. The sentiments going around the tin are Love, Hope, and Peace and they are from MFP Seasonal Poinsettias.
