CCEE Stamper-Paper Piecing

Funny thing about my card...this week Anne Harmon gave the CCEE Stampers challenge to do paper piecing. I started my card and left it on my craft table for about two weeks before finishing it. By that time, I was thinking the challenge was paper piercing so I did that. I checked the challenge and was safe, though, because I had paper pieced the ornament earlier as I should. Whew!

I stamped my ornament on white and then again on  the same designer paper as I'm using in the background. It had this little girl sledding down a hill. I covered it will glossy accents and added the chain for it to hang.

I crimped a tree that I punched and added a punched star. The rest was easy...turned down a corner of my dp, added a sentiment and some bling, and that's it!

We hope you'll join us this week.

Recipe:
Stamps-Flourishes/All That Glitters (ornament), Sentiment bought at Michael's (no name)
Paper-PTI vintage cream and white cardstock, Stampin'Up! Cherry Cobbler, Mark's Finest Papers Chipboard (Kraft), The Paper Studio Christmas Toile
Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories-EK Success Lg Christmas Tree punch, Glossy Accents, EK Success starry night punch, gemstones, piercing tool, Stampin'Up! Mat Pack, Flower Soft silver braid (chain),crimper

FOSTV Challenge

Today starts a new challenge at Friends of Speedy TV (FOSTV) and that is to do paper piercing. Now, that I look at it, maybe I should have done more...maybe some on the green panel. There are no rules about how much you have to do so we hope you'll do some paper piercing and join us this
week.

This is the stamp set that is being given away this week. Hope you'll join us and maybe you will be the lucky winner of Flaps My Wattles.

I'm using two stamp sets from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company. My rosebud is from the set called Love Remains and the sentiment came from the set called Flaps My Wattles.

Other items used:
Paper-MFP, A Heinrich Co. - Mossy Sage 100 lb. premium cover cardstock and white cardstock
Marianne Design swirls embossing/cutting folder
Green Pearls
Copics
