Sympathy-Flower Medley

I am so very far behind as I've been away for a week and I'm trying to play catch up now. On Splitcoaststampers, a week ago, a new Queen For the Day was crowned...Holly aka KopyKat. I
needed a sympathy card so I took that route and am using a new stamp I bought on Saturday
at Michael's. I really love the stamp but it is a bit hard to get the good background ink coverage
I wanted. I had not meant to use any more flower cards until Spring but I really loved this one
and thought it would be a good image for a sympathy card so I plunged ahead with it.

I am entering this card also into two challenges: Stamps R Us challenge #6 to use an All Nature Theme.

Also, For Fun Challenges to use something you've never used before. I am using a stamp I bought Friday at Michael's and this is the first time using it.

Recipe:
Stamps: Hero Arts-Flower Medley, Stampendous-Encouraging Words for sentiment
Ink: Stampin'Up! Soft Suede
Paper: PTI white cardstock, SU Soft Suede
Accessories: Martha Stewart Classic Butterfly punch

This is a lovely sympathy card, Benzi!! I think that flower stamp you bought is perfect for it. Looks like you were able to get decent ink coverage after all--this looks fantastic. Try not to get overwhelmed from being away!! I hope you had a super time :)

Oh what a fabulous card Benzi! Lovin your new stamp - not surprised you couldn't resist it and the single colour theme is so effective
Hope you enjoyed your week away and that it was for fun purposes and not work related!

Beautiful sympathy card Benzi. It's so elegant and has a very tranquil feel to it. I love the butterflies too. For some reason I think butterflies are always perfect for sympathy cards.
