Christmas Joy

Another Friday, a new Queen crowned on Splitcoaststampers and it is Linda aka Holstein. She has a gallery full of beautiful cards, so many white on white. I almost did that but had to add some red. :-) This is the card I cased. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1939183?&cat=500&ppuser=144590
I mostly kept her sketch. I wanted to do a Christmas card today as I started thinking last night just how close it is and how many cards I need to make.

I love this Cuttlebug embossing folder called Flurries. All I had to do was add a ribbon, a bit of scoring, and some gemstones, along with my sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers called Snowman Country (stamped 3 times).

Recipe:
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers-Snowman Country
Paper: PTI white
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Spellbinders circle and circle scallop nestie, Cuttlebug embossing folder-Flurries, Celebrate It! holiday ribbon, red rhinestones, Scor-Pal

I love Linda's white on white, but the red really adds pizzazz! Can't help with the nestie problem. Hope it works itself out.

This is exquisite Benzi. You know I have to go shopping for that folder so I can case you....I think this card is awesome and want to make a few to send for Christmas as this should pass for 44 cents....not 1.71 to 2.00 that I usually spend to send my cards...lol I just love this.

Beautiful crisp christmas card Benzi! You have good taste, that's my favorite winter embossing folder! The touch of red is most fabulous on the white!

I love the splash of red on this gorgeous white card! I have this embossing folder but have never known the name of it as it came unlabeled in a special package. Thanks! I'll make a note of it!
