My Favorite - Yellow Tulips

My favorite flower is the tulip and my favorite color for them is yellow. I had just received this stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps last week and then the owner was named Queen for the Day on Splitcoaststampers. Her name is Korin aka sweetnsassystamps.

I was more than happy to color my tulips and case one of Korin's cards. This is the one I chose. I kept her sketch and changed just about everything else. Of course, I have no stitching...got to get out that sewing machine. How long has it been since my sister gave it to me. Two years...or one? No excuses for me to not have some stitches on my card.

Recipe:
Stamps: Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps-Spring Tulips
Paper: PTI white cardstock, Stampin'Up! Old Olive, black scraps, The Paper Studio Hounds Tooth 2 (looks like checks to me)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics, black pearls, Martha Stewart eyelet lace punch around the page

What gorgeous yellow tulips, Benzi! I've seen a few tulips beginning to bloom here. No yellow though unless they're covered in pollen.

Sooo pretty - I love tulips! Maybe someday you'll learn to love your sewing machine ... mine's broken but I still can't bring myself to throw it in the bin!

this is a real beauty! I love tulips too ... in every color! I just noticed my neighbors tulips today. They are miniature due to the bunnies getting the munchies. At least that is what we think it is...lol

This is so pretty with those vividly colored yellow tulips and green and black accents! My sewing machine sits about 3 feet from my crafting table, and I rarely ever plug it in and use it either:) I like the look of stitching, it's just too cumbersome to drag it to the table :)
