Frames and Flowers
Gosh, the sun is shining and I'm sooooooo happy! How great to see that ball of fire. I can hardly wait for the time to change in March. I love longer days.
I guess thinking of the sun is what brought on this bright card for the Queen for the Day on Splitcoaststampers. The queen is Susan aka susanbri and this is the card I cased. I used more white cardstock than patterned paper and because my sentiment is in the frame, I added some pearls.
My frame is a stamp that belongs to my sister (the person with every stamp that has ever been made).
I'm laughing but I think it is true. Thanks, sis! It is a Gina K. Stamp TV image by Nina Brackett. All I had to do was color the flowers, sponge inside, and cut out. I'm not sure if it fit with a Spellbinders die as some of hers do or not. The sentiment is Gina K. Designs. Names are listed below in my recipe.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous week.

For the Queen
I made a CAS card today for the QFTD challenge #91. It was this past Friday and I'm finally getting one together and uploaded. I've been busy, busy...haven't we all?
The Queen this week is Christine aka whim6915 and I cased this card of hers. I am using an image from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company called Buffalo Spring and the sentiment is from the same company and is from the Happy Pansies set.
The card was so easy. I just stamped the image, punched an eyelet lace punch around the page from Martha Stewart and add a few pearls and that finished it.
Recipe:
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company-Buffalo Spring and Happy Pansies (sentiment)
Paper: Stampin'Up! Chocolate Chip, PTI vintage cream, The Paper Studio Solid Pearl/Gold dp
Ink: Stampin'Up! Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Martha Stewart patp eyelet lace, pearls

Swan Lake
A friend gave me this stamp set and I really love it. It is Flourishes Swan Lake. It is perfect to use this week for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge #110 to do masking. Now, that is a fun challenge. Thanks, Maki.
I stamped my swan, masked it off, then added the background of grasses, flowers, and rocks. This was using only two stamps from the set. I really like how it turned out.
I am entering my card into the Crafts and Me Challenges #27-Anything Goes
